Restrict web reviews creation

By default, everyone can leave a review on your product page. This can maximize the number of reviews you receive but also exposes you to spammers or attacks from competitors. 

To prevent this, you can restrict the review creation and only allow buyers to leave a review.

Web reviews restriction

To enable web reviews restriction:

• In Judge.me admin, go to Settings > Review widget > Review curation > Web reviews.
• Turn ON web review restriction.

This will hide away the “write-a-review” button from web visitors. Reviews can still be left via our review request emails or via API requests.

Heavy restriction

To prevent spammers with bots/code from creating reviews via API requests, you can also turn on Heavy restriction.
