In this article, we'll show you some additional settings in the Judge.me WooCommerce plugin that will help you use our features properly.

If you are unsure how to handle these settings, please grant us admin access to your WooCommerce store, then we'll help you with the installation. Here is how you can create a staff account for Judge.me:

  • From your WordPress admin, go to Users > Add New.
  • Enter this information:
  • Click Add User.

1. Update Judge.me widgets with cache plugins

Judge.me can work with several cache plugins, which automatically purge the cache whenever there is a new review. Currently, we support WP Super Cache, W3 Total Cache, Autoptimize, Cache Enabler, Breeze Cache, WP Fastest Cache, SG Optimizer.

If your plugin is not in the list, please manually purge the cache daily, so the widgets will update.

Judge.me widgets only support the following emojis ⌚ ⏩ ⏪ ⏫ ⏬ ⏰ ⏳ ⚽ ⛄ ⛅ ⛎ ⛔ ⛪ ⛲ ⛳ ⛵ ⛺ ⛽ ⬛ ⬜ ⭐ ⭕ ✂ ✅ ✊ ✋ ✨ ❌ ❎ ❓ ❔ ❕ ❗ ❤ so if your reviews contain other emojis this may prevent the widget from updating. Please remove them to allow the widgets to update again.

Some other issues can prevent our widgets from updating correctly, read more about specific solutions to particular plugins.

2. Synchronize WooCommerce products with Judge.me

WooCommerce products should automatically synchronize with Judge.me products, but in rare cases, they may not and you may need to manually synchronize them.

To synchronize your WooCommerce Products with Judge.me manually, go to Advanced > click the Synchronize Products button, then wait a few minutes and check if the products have synced.

If you need to synchronize products again, before you click Synchronize Products, first click the Reset Synchronize Products Status button.

Product synchronization is necessary when you want to use Product groups (share reviews across products) or shop groups (share reviews across multiple shops)

Read more about How to synchronize your products correctly.

3. Export native WooCommerce reviews

The review export functionality in WooCommerce will help you to export your native WooCommerce product reviews. We will use an internal product ID to match the exported reviews with your shop's products (we don't need the SKU for that).

To export your WooCommerce product reviews, please go to the Judge.me plugin, choose the Advanced tab > Export WooCommerce reviews > click the Export to CSV button.

4. Schedule review requests

Review requests are scheduled automatically when your WooCommerce order status is marked as Completed. Learn more about WooCommerce order status and review requests.

5. Remove duplicated AggregateRating in Woocommerce
